Session Description

Sprecher Brewery is a long-standing icon for its craft beer, soda and root beer, after becoming the first craft brewery in Milwaukee after prohibition. Now the business is re-inventing itself for a new age by incorporating e-commerce, influencer marketing and more for an audience that spans Gen Z to Boomers. This session will share the journey of building on a tradition to bring a well-established brand to a new and growing audience, using a start-up mentality for all areas of the business.

Tim Cigelske is the Director of Communications at Sprecher Brewery, where he is responsible for growth of the Sprecher brand, e-commerce and marketing. Prior to transitioning to the craft beer and beverage industry, he spent 13 years at Marquette University where he established and grew their social media marketing. He has experience working for both a well-established 130-year-old university and a start-up, both of which informs his experience at Sprecher.
